This is what a lot of my yard looks like.
It's fried from the early summer heat and the lack of water (I very rarely water it because when I think about it, it's noon and that's not the time to water). I put some fertilizer down Saturday - before the first good soaking my yard has seen in a while - and there is hope.
I've got my fingers crossed that the whole yard will look like the shadier parts of the yard.
I'm hoping the recent rainy spell will help, though I'm actually glad it's easing off a bit. The yard is a little soggy now. Hopefully, the rain will come back and see us soon!
