Allow Me To Be (Kinda) Political For a Moment

When John McCain was asked how many houses he has, he said:

"I think — I'll have my staff get to you," McCain told Politico in Las Cruces, N.M. "It's condominiums where — I'll have them get to you."

I have just one house.
Is it reasonable for one person to believe this candidate is in touch with the rest of America when he doesn't even know how many homes he and his uber-wealthy wife have? I don't know how many shoes I have. But that's different. I don't have a collection of multi-million dollar shoes. That bothers me A LOT, even if they're technically in his name.
