Are you out of the loop when it comes to pop culture? If you think you're hip by reading this blog, you're wrong. For starters, kids don't use the word "hip" anymore. I don't think they've used it in the last few decades. And you should know that while I am very proud of my pop knowledge, there's a lot out there that is foreign to me.
So I want to help you (and me). Every Monday, the LA Times puts out its "Smart List" of things people will be talking about this week. I encourage you to check it out each week and learn a little more about what kids are talking about these days. Start with this week's list.
